Sealing disks are used to keep the product out of the cap, present a professional appearance to a product and slow down leakage possibilities. To use a sealing disk fill the jar leaving adequate headspace, place the disk on top of the jar, twist on the cap. Taa-daa! It is that simple.
If you are working with a very thin product, such as the oil from a sugar/salt scrub, please check the description of Beeswax, Candelilla Wax, or Carnauba Wax for more help. Lotions and creams are helped greatly by sealing disks.
