Majestic Mountain Sage sponsors a discussion list for soapmakers. The purpose of this list is to help customers and friends of Majestic Mountain Sage make soap. This list is free to customers and friends of our company. This list will be used for advertising by Majestic Mountain Sage and/or other advertisers to promote soapmaking related products. Advertising Information messages will be sent out in a weekly ad-digest.

This list is a monitored list. This means that posts to the list are automaticly sent to the list. If there are any violations of the "Rules of Conduct", a warning will be sent. If the offense is repeated, the offender will be dropped from the list. The "Rules of Conduct" are listed below. Please read and become familiar with these rules.

This is a public forum. Please keep your comments and messages to a publicly acceptable standard.

Here are a few rules for the list:

1. Netiquette
   Netiquette, Internet etiquette, is mainly watching your manners while participating with the list. This includes keeping to topic and keeping signatures or tag lines to a reasonable length (typically no more than four lines). You should also respect copyrights and not publish the material of others without permission and/or attribution.
2. Quoting
   Please limit quoting of previous messages to the relevant portion. Excessive quoting is wasteful of bandwidth, reading time, and is generally annoying.
3. Flaming
   Flaming, name calling, libel. No matter what you call it, messages with hurtful content are not welcomed and will not be accepted. If you have a problem with another person, you may want to take up your issue directly with them. We prefer that you forget it and go on. Those involved in a flame war are subject to removal from the list.
4. Advertising
   Advertising will be controlled and sent to the list by Majestic Mountain Sage. An advertisement packet (message) will be sent out once each week (usually on Monday). The advertisement packet will contain specials and information about soapmaking related products. Other advertisers are also welcomed to obtain ad space as well. 5. Posting
   To post a message to the list, send it to soap@lists.xmission.com. The message will then be automaticly forwarded to the members of the list.
