Spa-erific Salt Scrub
Introduction
This scrub is more like the ones I've bought at various bath shops. This is a very versatile scrub so be creative add a little color for a pastel hue. And oh, the fragrance possibilities are endless.
This recipe was made on the blog on December 16th, 2009.
Ingredients
24 ounces Dead Sea Salt1 ounce Colorless Jojoba Oil
3 ounces Sunflower Oil
4 ounces Shower Gel & Liquid Hand Soap in On
2-3 ml desired Fragrance Oil
Equipment
Mixing CupsStainless Steel or Ceramic Mixing Bowls
Soap Spoon
Transfer Pipettes
Instructions
Mix all the above ingredients together. Add your fragrance. Once your scrub has been transferred into the desired containers and allowed to sit for a while the salt will settle. There will be about a 1/4 of an inch or so of liquid/oil on the top. Don't panic this is very typical of this type of scrub.
Comments
I like to pick up a pair of exfoliating hand mittens and a jar of this scrub, combined with a nice long shower, I feel like I spent the day being pampered at the Day Spa. Well...., almost!
