Orange Butter Lip Balm

It is not very often I am struck speechless by a new fragrance. The other day I came in from the sweltering outdoors to the air-conditioned refuge of our building. Now I am the first to admit that heat makes me cranky. Some days I don’t even want to be with myself!
Andee, the sweet angel that she is, accosted me with a giant hug and a perfume strip. “Oh my gosh!” She gushed. “You have just got to smell this!” I remember taking a tentative sniff from the perfume test strip then grabbing her wrist to bring the strip back for another, deeper sniff. “What is that?” “That is our new Blackberry Iced Tea!” she laughed. Wow. I was thunderstruck. It was sweet, fruity and refreshing. Just what I needed.
Blackberry Iced Tea Fragrance has changed our office from being a bunker to hide from the heat to an oasis that soothes the soul and refreshes the spirit. I can’t wait to make a perfume stick with this fragrance oil!
Ingredients Body Milk Base Blackberry Iced Tea Fragrance Oil |
Equipment Spoons Pipettes Plastic Piping Bag Containers |
Recipe: 1 gallon Body Milk Base 1 fl oz Blackberry Iced Tea Fragrance Oil |
Pour 1 oz of fragrance into the gallon jug of Body Milk. Shake well. You can also pour the jug into a large bowl or mixing bucket. I like this method because it is a little easier and I can see the color. (I added a lit of our Grape and Purple Raspberry colorants to make a light pink/purple.)
Transfer the mixed lotion to a bag so you can pipe it into jars. Remember to cut a super small hole. This is a very fluid product! Cap, label and enjoy!
