Pink Kaolin Clay Facial Mask

I wanted to create a face mask to help hydrate the skin. With the heat we have been experiencing, it has be hard to keep the skin moisturized and soft. I finally got sick of dry, flaky skin, so I am going to do something about it. Will you join me?I used Polysorbate 80 in this recipe for its ability to emulsify water and oil. It will help pull any excess oil from the skin allowing to hydrate while the mask is on. While the Polysorbate 80 did exactly what I wanted, it is very viscous. Next time I make this, I will substitute the Polysorbate 20 for Polysorbate 80.

I also used Hydrovance in this mask. Hydrovance moisturizes the skin. The moisture helps the skin stay soft and supple preventing it from cracking and splitting. Just what we are looking for!

I also added Wheat Protein to this formulation. Wheat Protein also aids in moisturizing. I really was looking for an end product that would aid the skin in any way possible. Wheat Protein also has high amounts of amino acids and glutamine levels. Both of which provide properties that make your skin and hair feel good.
