Scarecrow Lotion Day 2

Day 2 brings us another take on the Scarecrow Lotion. I decided that since I liked the lighter feel of the recipe with the Sweet Almond Oil that I would change the percentage of the Emulsifying Wax. This will make the lotion feel more fluid and less waxy without changing the moisturizing effect of yesterday’s recipe. I am also showcasing what the lotions look like on the finger in today’s photos so you can really see what it looks like.What kind of lotion would you prefer? Do you like something lighter or heavier on the face? This is such a simple recipe because I chose to make it all about the extracts. What oil would you use if you wanted to make this at home?

0.07 ounces Vitamin E Acetate
0.04 ounces Horsetail Grass Extract
0.04 ounces Ivy Extract
0.04 ounces Orchid Extract
0.02 ounces Comfrey Leaves Extract
0.02 ounces Liquid Germall Plus		 Recipe in Percentages
68% Distilled Water
20% Sweet Almond Oil
3% Emulsifying Wax

0.5% Liquid Germall Plus

Instructions
Weigh out all ingredients except for the Vitamin E Acetate, extracts, and Liquid Germall Plus into a microwave-safe container. Microwave in short bursts until Emulsifying Wax is completed melted, stirring in between bursts. Blend well with Immersion Blender. Once the lotion is cooled you may add the extracts, Vitamin E Acetate, and Liquid Germall Plus. Have fun making this one at home!
