This version of cocoa butter has the wonderful color of fragrant cocoa butter but less odor than regular cocoa butter. The color is a warm, straw color and will add a rich note to products where cocoa butter is heavily used. In products that use cocoa butter lightly, I don't expect any color to come through.
This version is without the intense odor because the strong, yummy scent of chocolate isn't appropriate in all applications. I like to think of body butters, lip balms, and other salve like products that have fresh, fruity, marine, or green scents. These scents shouldn't have to compete or drown out a chocolate odor. So, use deodorized when you need to make something like this. If you need a guaranteed odorless cocoa butter, then White Cocoa Butter is what you need.
If you are making a vanilla, spice, coffee, or chocolatey scented product, then you should use regular cocoa butter.

The countries that are major producers of cacao beans, and their supplementary products, have been under domestic unrest. All of these problems have cause cocoa butter prices to climb. Each wafer weighs between 0.06 and 0.09 ounces (or 1.8 and 2.6 grams).Summer Shipping Note: Since Cocoa Butter has a melting point between 86-96 °F (30-36 °C), the wafers may partially melt during transit in warm weather. This is normal, and you will still be able to break apart the wafers for use.
