Black Onyx (pigment)

INCI = CI77499 (or) Iron Oxides

Often used for making other colors darker or muted. To mix a large quantity, add the 2 oz jar to 16 oz liquid glycerin. We have packed the liquid glycerin in bottles with enough headspace to allow you to do this easily.

Recommended vehicle for dispersing: glycerin.

Cold Process Soap: will darken or mute other colors, or grey tones if used lightly. Black color can be achieved if used intensely.
Glycerin Soap Base: same as cold process soap

Glycerin, Liquid (Vegetable Derived)

INCI = Glycerin

Our liquid glycerin is used for many craft items from preserving eucalyptus stems to making lotions and soaps. Our glycerin is cosmetic grade so you can rest assured your transparent soap is made from the best ingredients.

This is not a soap, it is an additive to make liquid or transparent soaps. If you need liquid soaps or transparent soap base please go to our Bases section.

Please note: this item is sold by weight. Do not be alarmed by any headspace in this bottle.



Grape Color

INCI = Blue 1

Color only turns purple in an alkaline environment. Color is blue in lotions or melt & pour soap base. To mix a large quantity, add 1/2 tsp color to1 oz dropper bottle, fill with water, insert dropper tip and place over cap on bottle. Shake well.

Recommended vehicle for dispersing: water.

Cold Process Soap: purple, medium to vivid
Glycerin Soap Base: blue, pale to vivid; will bleed so make soaps solid color only, not swirls
Lotion: blue
Bath Salts: blue, pale to medium, mix into small spray bottle instead of dropper bottle, spray salts with color, will turn bath water blue

Lavender Fields Color

INCI = Ultramarines

This is a fun purple color that can be used from a light to dark color. Also considered a Lilac color

To mix a large quantity, add the 2 oz jar to 16 oz liquid glycerin. We have packed the liquid glycerin in bottles with enough headspace to allow you to do this easily.

Lemon Yellow (dye)

INCI = Yellow 5

A great yellow color that can be used from pale to intense. To mix a large quantity, add 1/2 tsp color to 1 oz dropper bottle, fill with water, insert dropper tip and place over cap on bottle. Shake well.

Recommended vehicle for dispersing: water.

Cold Process Soap: yellow, pale to intense
Glycerin Soap Base: yellow, pale to intense; will bleed so make soaps solid color only, not swirls
Lotion: yellow

Measuring Scoops for Colorants

For visual aid the .15 cc is about the same size as half a pea, 1.25 cc is the same as 1/4 teaspoon. We generally keep a scoop with each colorant we have.




Mica, Silver

INCI = Mica (and) Titanium Dioxide

Need to add shimmer but no color? Try the silver mica. Beautiful shimmer like snow flakes on a frosty morning.

Cold Process Soap: due to the opaque nature of soap it is not easily seen.
Glycerin Soap Base: silver shimmer

Mint Green (pigment)

INCI = Chromium Hydroxide Green

A brighter green than most. We use this color when making swirls, leaves or watermelon rind sections of soap.

To mix a large quantity, add the 2 oz jar to 16 oz liquid glycerin. We have packed the liquid glycerin in bottles with enough headspace to allow you to do this easily.

Moss Green (pigment)

INCI = Chromium Oxide Greens

We have mixed this color with Black Onyx to get a spruce green, very nice!

To mix a large quantity, add the 2 oz jar to 16 oz liquid glycerin. We have packed the liquid glycerin in bottles with enough headspace to allow you to do this easily.

Cold Process Soap: light army green to dark mossy green, if you need forest green mix with black onyx color, request color instructions when ordering

Ocean Blue

INCI = Green 5

A simple blue with a touch of green. This has more blue than our Seafoam Green color. To mix a large quantity, add 1/2 tsp color to1 oz dropper bottle, fill with water, insert dropper tip and place over cap on bottle. Shake well.

Purple Raspberry

INCI = Red 33

We use this color in salts, fizzies and soaps! Very versatile and fun. To mix a large quantity, add 1/2 tsp color to1 oz dropper bottle, fill with water, insert dropper tip and place over cap on bottle. Shake well.

Titanium Dioxide (pigment)

INCI = Titanium Dioxide

Our titanium dioxide disperses in water so you can easily add it to your soap batch at any stage. Cover the darker oils, brighten the lighter oils, and decrease the amount of browning that can happen with some fragrance oils.

Cold Process Soap: whitens and lightens darker oils
Glycerin Soap Base: turns transparent soap opaque

Ultramarine Blue (pigment)

INCI = Ultramarines

Use ultramarine blue alone for a bright blue. To achieve a navy blue add a little Black Onyx.

To mix a large quantity, add the 2 oz jar to 16 oz liquid glycerin. We have packed the liquid glycerin in bottles with enough headspace to allow you to do this easily.

Ultramarine Pink Color (pigment)

INCI = Ultramarines

A bluish-pink pigment for that cool soap. An awesome color for swirls! This color may appear gray or not appear at all when too little is used.

To mix a large quantity, add the 2 oz jar to 16 oz liquid glycerin. We have packed the liquid glycerin in bottles with enough headspace to allow you to do this easily.

Yellow Oxide (pigment)

A beautiful yellow for cold process soaps. Think of a warm, intense, earthy yellow.
