Fragrance Friday: Applejack Fragrance Oil

Fragrance Friday: Applejack Fragrance Oil

Think of the tantalizing smell of a fresh apple pie. Add a dash of orange and a few drops of vanilla. Close your eyes and inhale the scent of the season!

From our catalog:

“A festive combination of McIntosh red apples, juicy oranges, and Madagascar vanilla is perfectly complimented with our own special blend of spices. This one has ’tis the season written all over it.”

I can’t think of a better fragrance to use as a room spray. Let’s make one real quick.

SUPPLIES:

Applejack Fragrance Oil
Polysorbate 80
Water
Bottles
Sprayer Lids

EQUIPMENT:

Transfer Pipettes
Measuring Cup with spout
Funnel
Something to stir

Recipe:

5 mL Applajack Fragrance Oil
5 mL Polysorbate 80
12 ounces warm water

For this recipe, we don’t even need a scale! Using a 3 mL transfer pipette, measure 5 mL Applejack Fragrance Oil and 5 mL Polysorbate 80 into a small container. Give it a swirl to combine.

Pour the fragrance mixture into a 12-oz bottle, and add warm water to fill. Make sure to leave head space for the bottle’s spray mechanism. Top the bottle with a pump spray or trigger spray.

If you want to package this in smaller bottles like I did, add the scent mixture to 12 ounces of warm water, stir gently to mix, then package in whatever size bottles you will use.

Now spray it around your room and enjoy!
