Smooch-a-Rooskie

Introduction

This is one of my favorites, not too waxy, not too glossy, you get the picture. Need I say more? =)

Ingredients

28 grams Coconut Oil (I really like to use the Aloe Butter since it is infused into coconut, you get the added bonus of two in one.)
    14 grams Mango Oil
    14 grams Mango Butter
    28 grams Macadamia Nut Oil
    10 grams Carnauba Wax

1.5 ml Cream Soda Flavor Oil
1.5 ml Root Beer Flavor Oil

Instructions

Weigh and measure all fixed oil ingredients into a single microwave safe container. Melt all ingredients. If you choose to use the microwave keep an eye on it, things get HOT, very quickly in the microwave. I recommend using short time settings and checking every 10 seconds or so. This mixture can change from a solid state to a liquid state very quickly. Like chocolate it may retain its shape and a little stirring may change it to a completely melted mixture.

Once all your ingredients are melted you can add your flavor oils and any desired color. Using a pipette carefully transfer your lip gloss into your containers. Quick cool the filled containers by placing them in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes. Quick cooling is a great way to prevent any of your oils from fractionating. Label and give away!

Yield

Will make approximately 17 tubes or eleven 1/4 oz jars.
