INCI: Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Seed Oil

Saponification Value: 190 mg KOH / g of Fat

Cranberry seed oil is unique in the vegetable oil market since it contains a 1:1 ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Essential fatty acids like omega-3 and omega-6 are critical to the body to help improve cardiovascular function, increase circulation and strengthen the immune system. Essential fatty acids can not be synthesized by the body. Cranberry oil's naturally occurring tocopherols and highly unsaturated profile provide nourishment to the skin and superior moisturizing qualities.

A super ingredient for your natural cosmetic formulations. Try a skin cream or butter with this oil. Utterly fabulous is what we think!

Love Cranberry Seed Oil!

I use this in my homemade facial lotion. It is one of several oils, and I find the end result to be creamy with a good balance between moisturizing and not too oily. This oil does not have much of a scent, so it doesn't fight with the other ingredients in my lotion. The color in this oil doesn't change the end result too much either. My lotion batches are usually a bit off-white. Shelf life is pretty good - it sometimes takes me a year and a half to get through 16 oz. As someone with picky skin (thus my homemade lotion) I can say that this one does not make me break out, nor does it give me a rash.
