Sugar Baby II Flavor Oil
This Sugar Baby II Flavor Oil tastes like a light sweet Caramel... I really like it!!! Can't wait to flavor lip balms & pots with it... Yum... :)
In 2023, we had to update our classic Sugar Baby Flavor with a slight formulation change. While we feel this formulation change is minor, a revised name was essential to help you note the difference.
INCI: Flavor
What tastes so wonderful the name is common throughout? Sugar! Watermelons have a Sugar Baby variety. Corn has Sugarpearl, peas have Sugar Snap, pumpkins have Small Sugar, tomatoes have Sugar Snack, and of course, we have the herb Stevia.
But what about flavors that have a wonderful aroma and good but single-dimensional flavor? You need something sweet to round out all the fabulous flavor an oil can offer! Our newest sweetening Flavor Oil is just a nice sweetener and can be used with any Flavor Oil or Essential Oil listed in this section. If you desire a "little bit sweet" then only add a small amount of Sugar Baby Flavor. If you want a dessert in a tube, then add more Sugar Baby Flavor!
So, what is the difference between Sugar Kisses and Sugar Baby? Our testers noted a cleaner, more sugar-like flavor from Sugar Baby. Of course, both are sweet, and both will sweeten your lip balms easily. We think Sugar Baby is a bit smoother with fewer additional flavor nuances. Both are on my shelf!
Lip Balm Use
Use at a rate of 2 to 4%. For a batch of lip balm that makes 50 tubes (.15 ounces each) or 25 jars (.25 ounces each) use from 6 to 11 grams. This converts to approximately 6 to 11 milliliters if you would rather use a pipette.
