Fragrance Blending Challenge - Spring Edition

snowI will be the first to admit that I love playing around with fragrances and making mood inspired products. However even the most passionate of us can hit a mental block when it comes to producing new ideas and fragrance blends. So I’m coming to you, dear reader, for some help.

I want to make a room spray/ body splash that is fresh, green and spring like with a hint of cold winter frost. Your challenge is to create and share your blend based on the following description. Imagine away.

Tender green leaves are unfurl into the crisp air. A brook babbles nearby, the perfect accompaniment to the chorus of birds heralding the return on the sun. The sun-kissed earth releases its sweet scent, teasing the early spring flowers open. Laced with a touch of frost, this is Spring.

Wow! Okay, so the hard part is that your blend must be able to be described by the description. The easier part is that you can use any fragrance or essential oil of your choice from our catalog. (Well, that might not be so easy.)

To submit an entry, just leave a note in the comments field. Contestants only qualify if they include have percentages/parts/grams so that others may recreate their blend. Also you can only use current MMS fragrance and essential oils. We want everyone to be able to join in the fun. Remember, these are requirements to qualify!

Qualified contestants get a small goodie box from our blog kitchen. So don’t miss out! Pull out your perfume testing strips and get sniffing! Good luck and remember… have fun!
