How to make a Yummy Italian Tiramisu Lip Scrub

Yesterday I made a really tasty tiramisu lip balm. I decided to expand on the little theme and make a corresponding lip scrub to match the lip balm. I may not have a purse full of lip balms, glosses and tints like Taylor, but I do like using a lip scrub as part of my twice weekly face pampering.

This lip scrub helps me satisfy my tiramisu cravings and keeps my lips smooth during the changing seasons. Come join me in the kitchen and find out how to make your own lip scrub!

Weigh the Cocoa Butter and Avocado Oil into a microwave safe container. Heat using short bursts of time until the Cocoa Butter is mostly melted. This will prevent chunks of Cocoa Butter and allow the chocolaty flavor to be throughout the scrub. Weigh the remaining oils into the container and then pour the ingredients into the food processor with the sugar. Gently pulse the ingredients together until thoroughly mixed. Once the scrub is mixed together, fill the jars and cap.

Notes:
If you want to make a small batch, you can easily use a small personal blender instead of the larger 11 cup food processor that I used for these photos.

How do I use this?:
I’ve been asked over the phone about how I use a lip scrub, so here is how I use a lip scrub. Scoop a pea sized amount out of the jar. Using your finger, rub the scrub over your lips. Don’t scrub too much, or you can irritate your lips. Now you can either wipe your lips off, or lick them! Apply a lip balm and now you have pampered your lips!

This simple lip scrub exceeded my expectations and I’m so excited to have another lip scrub for my cosmetics bag!

Enjoy!
