How do you apply your perfume?

How do you apply your perfume?

Our technical support team was recently asked a question about perfumes.

The asker wants to know if she can use our fragrance oils straight from the bottle as a perfume.

The answer is NO! Each of our fragrance oils is very concentrated. We want people to dilute the fragrance oil into a suitable carrier. If you want to make roller bottle perfumes then a good carrier is Jojoba Oil or Fractionated Coconut Oil. A little bit of body helps make a smooth application. If the mixture in a roller bottle were too fluid it would leak out too fast and application would be messy.

If the application is through a mister then water or cyclomethicone are good choices. Remember to use an appropriate emulsifer when using water as the carrier.

Remember to dilute! It is the only way to make a great perfume.
