I absolutely adore strawberries and I am loving how they are so readily available. Every time I go to the grocery store, at least one carton of these red jewels finds its way into my basket. They are simple perfect! Today I want to make a smooth and creamy lip balm that was full of strawberry flavor, that way I can indulge on strawberries anytime of day! If you are like me, you will definitely want to join in! Let’s get started!
I want to use the Vegan Lip Solutions because it appeals to a large number of people. It is firm, passes the pocket test, and best of all, it is ready to use when you get it. While I am very fond of the Vegan Lip Solutions, it can feel a little utilitarian. I really wanted to make a more luxurious product. To do so, I added some of our fabulous Orchid Extract and Calendula Extract. They really make this lip balm shine!

Recipe in Ounces 10.08 ounces Vegan Lip Solutions (1 full jar) 0.2 ounces Orchid Extract 0.2 ounces Calendula Extract 0.1 ounces Strawberry Flavor Oil Q.S. Ruby Lip Balm Color |
Recipe in Grams 285 grams Vegan Lip Solutions 5.6 grams Orchid Extract 5.6 grams Calendula Extract 2.8 grams Strawberry Flavor Oil Q.S. Ruby Lip Balm Color |
Recipe in Percentages 95% Vegan Lip Solutions 2% Orchid Extract 2% Calendula Extract 1% Strawberry Flavor Oil Q.S. Ruby Lip Balm Color |
Vegan Lip Solution
Heat the Vegan Lip Solutions gently until liquid. Add Orchid Extract, Calendula Extract, Strawberry Flavor Oil, and just enough of the Ruby Oil Soluble Lip Color to cover the end of a toothpick. Stir well. Pour into a Lip Balm Tube Filling Tray filled with Lip Balm Tubes. Allow to cool. Scrape of the top with a plastic putty knife and remove the tubes. Cap and enjoy!
