US President Calvin Coolidge

Calvin Coolidge, the 30th President of the US. He never owned a car and never flew in a plane. He was the first president to have his inauguration heard on the radio, an estimated five million people listened to hear Coolidge speak. He slept 10 hours a day and refused to use the telephone for presidential business. He also liked to have his head rubbed with petroleum jelly while eating his breakfast in bed.

Well, I’m not sure what to exactly say about this but instead of petroleum jelly on your parts how about making a body butter with me that you would be proud of?

I will be using the Body Butter Base, this is one of my favorites to use because it goes on easy and helps moisturize my hands and feet. (I haven’t yet tried it on my head!) A little goes a long way so I like to put this in the 1/2 oz jar and lid set, then I’m able to take one along with me everywhere. I have chosen the Cherry Blossoms Fragrance Oil, I will use 1/2 ml of fragrance to each 2 oz of body butter. I weigh out the base into a zipped baggie, add in the fragrance oil of choice, then zip the bag and knead the ingredients together. I like to use the bags because it is easy to use and there is less clean up. After kneading the bag to mix the fragrance throughout the Body Butter I then cut the corner of the bag and piped the Body Butter into our containers, then added a lid. Easy as jelly! Too bad Calvin Coolidge didn’t have his own.
