Rosemary Lip Balm

This recipe was sent in by Blondell who told us it's not from Estee Lauder's kitchen, but it works. Many Thanks from all of us at MMS, we appreciate you participating in our recipes section ... Estee Lauder's or not. We think its great.

Ingredients:

65.31% Olive Oil
32.65% Beeswax
2.04% Rosemary Essential Oil

Instructions:

Since all of my pots are cast iron, and I was not willing to buy a double boiler pot I had to improvise. I filled a one quart cast iron pot three-quarters full of water, and balanced on it, a stainless steel mixing bowl just big enough to sit inside the pot without falling all the way in. To this I added my olive oil and beeswax until melted. When the oils were combined I blended in the Rosemary essential oil. Using a very small ladle, I then poured my mixture into lip balm pots.
