A Holiday Deep Plum Lip Tint

Finished Deep Plum Lip Tint

Finished Deep Plum Lip Tint

I can’t believe that it is already November. I told myself that this year I would start my Christmas shopping earlier to make it easier on me. I haven’t even bought a single Christmas presents yet! So, I already know that this holiday season is going to be a crazy, busy one! This time of year is always filled with shopping trips and family parties. That is what inspired me to remake this Deep Plum Lip Tint recipe from Taylor.

Ever since Taylor made this lip tint it has been my go-to lipstick for any party. Since Christmas is coming up we made some samples of this lip tint that we will be sending down to the shipping department. I know that not everyone likes darker colored lip tints, but I encourage that you wear it to your next party to try it out! You might just find the party has gone plum crazy with joy!

Recipe Note:
Q.S. means quantity sufficient. The amount of color varies from person to person until you find the amount you like. Some of the colors in this need so little that it can be difficult to weigh the amount needed! So we use Q.S. to say use as much as you need to achieve the right color, flavor, etc.

To make this lip tint, the first step is to microwave your jar of Lip Solutions until it is completely melted. Once it is melted, the next step is to add the Sugar Baby Flavor Oil and stir it in. Then you are ready to add the Lip Balm Colors. Make sure to use the Plate Test to test this lip tint on your lips, decide it is right before you fill the containers! Once the color is perfect then you can pour it into the container of your choice. Label and enjoy. 🙂
