Movember Beard Oil

Movember Beard Oil

Beard Oil is a viral product! I see beard oils everywhere. Some men use beard oil on their mustaches also. It’s a great way to add a bit of shine, tone down any flyaway hairs, and impart a pleasant scent.

Three on the list of Things Men Need to Know and Do: Know the numbers. At 50, men should talk to a doctor about prostate cancer and whether it’s right to have a PSA test. If you are African American or have a father or brother with prostate cancer, you should be having this conversation at 45. Know your numbers, know your risk, talk to your doctor.

Fun fact: Police in a district in India’s Madhya Pradesh state are being paid to grow mustaches because bosses believe it makes them command more respect. (They could be onto something!)

This recipe is a super quickie using our Beard and Hair Oil Base containing Jojoba and Hemp Seed Oils. All you need to do is choose between the scented and unscented versions, package, label, and you’re done!

When packaging beard oil, it’s a good idea to provide a lid that dispenses a small amount, making it easier to control use. Most beard oils I see in stores are packaged in 4-ounce glass bottles with a dropper. But your beard oil can stand out from the crowd using our Pump Top Closure.

Our scented base is reminiscent of a barbershop with tea tree, peppermint, and orange oils. The scent is not overpowering. The unscented base will allow an adventurous trip into scent blending. Warning: scent blending can be addictive!

A few notes about scent blending.

Perfume testing strips are just the thing for trying your scent blends. Make up several usage rates and test each. See how fast they disappear. You may find that some blends fade within an hour and others last all day.

We have a few great deals for scents that will give you several scents without breaking the bank – the Amazing Dozen with free shipping! You choose 12 one fluid ounce bottles of Fragrance Oils and/or Essential Oils and we ship them free within the U.S.

If you’re ready to go big, check out our Perfumery Kit. This kit will keep you busy for hours trying new fragrance combinations. Andee is our fragrance guru, and I spent a marvelous half hour or so with her one day getting a brief overview of scent blending and using this kit. I really wanted to take one home! The possibilities truly are endless when you have 100 scents at your fingertips.

Creating a scent blend can be as simple as adding an equal number of drops of two essential oils. Or you can try different combinations of essential or fragrance oils. It can be as simple or complex as you choose to make it.

Some favorites for beard oils include sandalwood, citrus, cloves, or outdoor scents.
