Summer Fun with the Kids: Head to Toe Cream
| I’ve had so much fun spending time with my kids and their friends as we made lots of goodies this summer. The kids have their own baskets of goodies, I have my “Don’t Touch – Mom’s Stash“, and my gift closet has a great collection of items. No more last minute gift shopping at my place! It was also fun to show my kids and their friends how easy it is to make these fun products just for themselves. They all had a great time and are super excited to use all the products they made!
The last thing we made together was body cream using the Head to Toe Cream Base. We added 1 fl oz of Freckles Fragrance Oil to the gallon and mixed well. One of the best things about this base is that you can use almost any of the 1 fl oz bottle of fragrance oil and scent the whole gallon pail. It makes the measuring super easy! Remember to always check the Fragrance Calculator so you are not over scenting. Supplies Needed:
Another fabulous option is to get a Body Cream Kit or the Body Milk Lotion Kit. All the kits come complete with all the needed items to mix and scent your lotion base and they also include great labels. This fun kid friendly activity only took us about 30 minutes to complete.
